WPF/Winforms Developer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a C#/.NET Developer for a direct placement assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Irving, TX.
 
 Responsibilities :

• Work on desktop application Account Manager as part of Account Master Central platform. The platform consists of sophisticated Line of Business functions presented using hundreds of screens. The role involves creating complex user interface using WinForms technology. Potential candidates MUST have experience with and be enthusiastic about developing in all areas of Application Programming. This is a high visibility project.
• All potential candidates MUST be able to work in a dynamic team environment which includes developers working on different technologies (C#/.NET, JavaScript, Angular, Java and Unix) across multiple regions, and be able to integrate their application components with other team members. This is NOT an architect position.

Required Skills: 

• 10+ years of programming experience with at least 5 years developing using following technologies
• C#
• .Net framework
• WinForms
• SOAP
• Git
• Web Development technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular
• Familiarity with third party libraries like DevExpress, Infragistics etc.
• Familiarity with any Prototyping / Wire-framing tools like Balsamiq, Figma etc.
• Understanding of basic principles of Human Computer Interaction
• Strong grasp of Design Patterns for building scalable applications.
• Ability to lead frontend design discussions and mentor junior developers
• Good team player
• Self-driven, with strong problem-solving mindset and attention to details
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to develop a clear understanding of business needs and incorporate these needs into technical solutions

Preferred Skills:

• Any experience with User Experience (UX) designing
